Tennis video editor for Windows

Your match has a story to share

BananaShot turns a raw tennis recording into a video that's easy to watch and share. Mark the points, keep score, and export it with a scoreboard.

Free. No account. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
How it works

Four steps from the court to the video

Most of a tennis recording is time between the points. BananaShot removes this time and adds the score.

  1. Record your match

Any camera, any resolution, any length

Record a match or a training session with a phone, an action camera, or a video camera.

  2. Mark the points

    Special UI, easy and fast

Open your recording. Set the start and the end of each point with one key. Mark the best points as favorites.

  3. Score the match

    Get a scoreboard & stats

Play each point and click the player who won it. The app counts the sets, the games, and the points with the tennis rules.

  4. Export the video

    Get the result

Select the full match, only the points, or only the favorites. The video gets the scoreboard, your comments, and the match statistics.

Features

Made for tennis players and coaches

01

No dead time

Mark where each point starts and ends. The export keeps only the points. A two-hour match often becomes less than one hour of video.

02

Scoreboard in the video

Click the player who won each point. The app counts the score for the usual match formats. Select the style, the colors, and the position of the scoreboard.

03

Match statistics

Serve, break points, point length, and a momentum chart. Add a statistics card at the end of the video or a summary after each set.

04

Comments on the video

Add a comment to a moment of the match. Coaches can explain a shot. The export shows the comment on the video.

05

Color and framing

Make a dark or flat video clear with the light and color controls. Zoom, move, and rotate the image to frame the court.

06

Fast export

The app finds the video encoders that work on your PC: NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel. Many exports can wait in a queue.

Your video stays on your PC

Local and safe for your files

No upload

The app edits on your PC. It does not send your videos to a server.

The original stays

The app only reads your recording. The export writes a new file.

Works offline

Edit and export without an internet connection. You do not need an account.

No AI involved

You are in control, not an algorithm

Sure, doing it by hand takes a bit of time. But BananaShot makes it as quick and easy as it gets. And you never have to fight an AI that got it wrong.

You mark the points

No AI guesses where a point starts or ends. Each cut is where you put it.

The score is correct

The score comes from your clicks and the tennis rules. There are no detection errors to fix later.

Fast on a normal PC

The app runs no AI model. You do not need a strong computer or a subscription to a cloud service.

The author

Made by a person, not a corporation

Hi! My name is Dmitri, I'm a tennis player and a programmer. I made this app for myself and decided to share it with the community.

It saves lots of my time and makes the process enjoyable. Hope it helps you too!

I'd be happy to improve the app based on your feedback, just let me know! How to send feedback
